United States Patent US 8,689,651 B1 — Liquid Sample Testing Apparatus. The apparatus includes a levelling mechanism with an upwardly directed reference surface adjustably mounted on a frame for supporting the base of liquid sample containers in substantially level orientation.

Processing Contaminated Samples

In conjunction with WearCheck Canada, a number of heavily contaminated oil samples that normally could not be processed by an optical particle counter were tested on the CS-APC-2. Samples with high water contamination and opaque samples were tested to compare CS-APC-2 results versus other particle counters.
